University should accept equal numbers of female students in every subject. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Some people think only students who show the best academic results should be rewarded, but others believe that schools should reward weaker students who make progress. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Some people think that using mobile phones and computers has a negative effect on young people’s reading and writing skills. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Some people think government should invest more money in teaching science than other subjects in order for a country to develop and progress. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Children are experiencing social, educational and commercial pressures. What are the cause of these pressures? What actions can be taken to reduce these pressures?

Leaders and directors in an organization are normally older people. Some people think younger leader would be better. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

When choosing a job, the salary is the most important consideration. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Many young people in the workforce today change their jobs or careers every few years. What do you think are the reasons for this? Do the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages?

Some people think that the best way to reduce time spent in traveling to work is to replace parks and gardens close to the city center with apartment buildings for commuters, but others disagree. Discuss both views and give you own opinion. Some people think that “vertical city” is the best, where people live and work in tall buildings. Others think that “horizontal city” is better, where there are few tall buildings. Discuss both views and give you own opinion.

in some countries, the widespread use of internet has given people to work or study at home instead of travelling to work or college. Do the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages? Food can be produced cheaper if we improved fertilizers and better machinery. However, many people think some of methods may be dangerous for human health, and have negative effects for local communities. To what extent do you agree or disagree? In many developed countries and areas, average life expectancy is increasing. What problems will this cause for individuals and society? Suggest some measures that could be taken to reduce the impact of aging population.

We are now living in a throw-away society. What causes the problem? Make some recommendations.

In many countries women are allowed to take maternity leave from their jobs during the first month after the birth of their baby.Do the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages?

Some people think that using mobile phones and computers has a negative effect on young people’s reading and writing skills. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Some people believed that the popularization of electronic devices such as smart phone and computer affects young people's ability to read and right negatively.

  1. interact with others via sound, emojis and pictures

People read less and write less & fewer opportunity to use language skill

the content tends to be simple and informal

  Undermind these skills

  1. mistake can be corrected automatically

Pay less attention to spelling and grammar, especially bad for children and those who are developing writing and reading skills

  2. most reading materials online are contents written by various people

Be likely to contain massive errors in word choice and grammar

In conclusion, I side with the opinion that the use of mobile phone and computers has negative influence on young people’s language skills, especially for reading and writing.

The charts below show the size of the ozone hole over Antarctica and the production of three ozone-damaging gases from 1980 to 2000.

  首段:shows 改成illustrates, size改成area,from..to..改成between.. and..

(1. CFC-11: the largest amount of emissions, being stable for three years, experienced a gradual downward trend. 2. CFC-12: there was a slowly rising trend. 3. N2O: no record before 1990; had begun to be released at an accelerating rate, overtaking CFC-11 in 1994)

總結:Overall, although the years of 1990 to 1993 witnessed a gradual fall, the size of ozone layer hole got larger during the whole period shown on the chart. The figures for CFC-11 decreased sharply, but those for CFC-12 and N2O had different trends.
